The temperatures keep dropping and some classic cases of winterface, as Alexa Chung would say, are starting to appear. But don’t fear, my beautiful snow angels. There are ways to weather these wintery times.

Winter may be just around the corner, but even snowmen have got to sparkle. Time to get the highlighters and strobing sticks out! Highlight the high points of your cheeks, the bridge of your nose and your cupid’s bow for a healthy glow.

My picks

Highlighter – the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

Strobing stick – Maybelline Master Strobing Stick

Along with the sun, my tan has now long gone. Nothing we can’t fix with a little contour and bronzer though. I like to combine the two. Contour can look a little ashy and grim on its own. However, bronzer on its own just doesn’t suit my baby face. It’s all about finding a flattering middle ground.

My picks

Contour – Maybelline – Master Sculpt

Contour – NYX – Wonder Stick

Bronzer – Gemey (Maybelline) – Terre Indienne

Bronzer – MAC – Harmony Matte powder blush

I feel like a broken record saying this, but you just gotta hydrate! Especially in the wintery months when the cold weather strips your face of all moisture. Find yourself the perfect moisturiser to keep awful flakey winterskin at bay and drink enough water to get that glow from within. For an extra boost of moisture, try using an overnight facial oil or face mask.

My picks

Moisturiser – Avène Hydrance Optimale

Facial Oil/Serum – Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Mask – Rituals Intensive Moisturising Mask
